Theatrical craftmanshipLoewe's art of construction

J.W.Anderson’s love for craftsmanship
is translated in a theatrical collection.

Loewe‘s Spring / Summer 2020 women’s collection is presented in an immaculate space at the Maison de l’Unesco. Pots of Pampas grass and monolithic amethyst geodes are framed by a curtain of undulating curtains of different opacity whose serenity is interrupted by a perpetual mechanical movement. The collection designed by Jonathan Anderson suggests a noble elegance where extremes of femininity and luxury rise to ethereal heights. References to craftsmanship and the meticulous construction of Loewe, are associated with a touch of theatricality. Suspension, intimacy and control plays alongside new  shapes and ornament, deconstructed elements of the boudoir lexicon.
For the evening, the classic Heel clutch is re-proposed in a miniature version in exotic leathers, such as lizard and crocodile, decorated with refined marabou borders, fringed tassels and a hibiscus crystal brooch. The traditional moccasins are presented as suede cuissardes, square-toed boots or mules, and flanked by tango shoes in slip-on patent leather with a stacked heel.
