New Visions from HyèresInternational Festival of Fashion

The three jury presidents went on to unveil the 10 finalists in each category. “We made sure there was a real diversity of representation amongst the finalists, for propositions and nationalities.” Natacha Ramsay-Levi president of jury and Creative Director of Chloe.

The 34th edition of the International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Fashion Accessories arrives in Hyères at the Villa Noailles from 25th to 29th April.
Hyères 2019 promotes and supports three categories: young international fashion designers, emerging photographers and this year, for the third time, a competition will also recognize to young fashion accessory designers.
The awards will be judged by a diverse jury, including Natacha Ramsay-Levi, artistic director of Chloé and Liya Kebede, model and designer.
Furthermore, the Festival features work by 10 up-and-coming photographers, this time judged by Craid McDean, plus an exhibition by the two prize winners from 2018 – Eva O’Leary and Sarah Mei Herman.

Last but not least the accessories category will be led by the jewelery designer Charlotte Chesnais that has collaborated with Balenciaga and Nicolas Ghesquière.
The Festival is acknowledged as the oldest fashion competition aimed at young professionals, supported by Chanel and Swarovski who promote the event and provide awards in the form of financial support and mentoring in key areas of the fashion world.
Moreover, during the Festival will be shown more than 100 artworks amassed by two collectors, antiques dealer Pierre Passebon and the fashion designer JW Anderson, under the name “Liberté et Courage.” This exhibition will be held at the Villa Romaine in Hyères.

The 34th Edition of the International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Fashion accessories, start 25th until 29th. The Exhibitions will be open until 26th May 2019
