MEKTOUB, MY LOVE: CANTO UNOAbdellatif Kechiche

  Abdellatif Kechiche is one of the most significant European directors of recent years. Winner of the Golden Palm in 2013 with La vie d’Adèle, but also author of other beautiful works such as Couscous, Abdellatif Kechiche Tunisian, French native, completed the filming of Mektoub, My Love: Canto Uno starring Shain Boumediene, Ophelie Bau and Lou Luttiau. The movie is a free adaptation of a novel by François Bégaudeau entitled The blessure, the vraie.
Mektoub, My Love: Canto Uno tells the story of a young screenwriter, Amin, who has just moved to Paris. He returns to the hometown to spend the summer holidays. There, while spending his days between the bar and the beach with friends, he meets a girl who fascinates him, Jasmine. It’s through this love story that he comes to the villa of a wealthy producer who proposes to fund his movie. Amin has to take difficult decisions that will affect the course of his life…
