Rizzoli publishes “Bottega Veneta: art of collaboration” to celebrate the creative collaborations between Tomas Meier and renowned artists.


Tomas Maier became Creative Director of Bottega Veneta in 2001 after having worked for Sonia Rykiel and Hermès; in 2002 he launched “Art of Collaboration”: a project that involved different contemporary photographers, usually not fashion photographers,  to help create the new contemporary and fresh advertising campaign for Bottega Veneta. With over 1000 photos, this book it’s a journey from the beginning of the project until more recent days, essential for everyone that has a passion for photography. The introduction and text are written by Tim Blanks, known fashion journalist and Daphne Markin a novelist and literary critic. The portfolio of the Italian Brand born in 1966 in Vicenza was created thanks to the help of menu artist, also featured in the book, like: Lord Snowdon, Annie Leibovitz, Peter Lindbergh, Steven Meisel, Robert Longo, Nan Goldin, Nick Knight and Philip-Lorca diCorcia.
